Through our activities and community projects, we live "Our Common Bond" and generate visibility for AT&T while serving the needs of the communities in which we live. Become a Pioneer Volunteer! There is no length of employment requirement. We have lots of interesting community projects that you may be interested in helping with. For more than 80 years, the TeleCom Pioneers - active and retired employees of AT&T, Lucent Technologies, former Bell System companies, and other telephone industry companies have worked together on volunteer projects that benefit the nation and local communities. The Pioneers have gone through a series of reorganizations in recent years that reflect both the globalizations of the industry and the changes in the make-up of our corporate sponsors.
