Questions:

  1. Who’s eligible to join the AT&T New Jersey Life Member Club?
  2. I would really like to get involved with Pioneering and was wondering if I 
      could bring a friend with me to Club events.

  3. I never received a Life Member Card. How do I get a new one?
  4. A fellow AT&T retiree would like to join the AT&T New Jersey Life
      Member Club. What’s the process for becoming a member?

  5. I’m moving to Florida in a couple of months. How do I find out about joining
      a club in Florida?

  6. I’m moving. How do I notify the Pioneers of my new address?
  7. I’m not moving, but just got a new e-mail address. Who should I notify?
  8. How can I find out what cluster I’m in?
  9. I’d like to change clusters. Is that possible and how do I do that?
10. I’d like to go to the Life Member Club luncheons, but I need a ride. Can some one help me with
      transportation?

11. If I work on a Pioneer volunteer project, am I covered by insurance in the event of an accident?
12. I spent most of my career at Bell Laboratories and would like to join a Lucent Pioneer Club. Is that
      possible? 

13. Will the Pioneers release my contact information to outside organizations?

Question 1: Who’s eligible to join the AT&T New Jersey Life Member Club?

Answer 1:
All AT&T retired employees who have an interest in Pioneering are eligible to join..

Question 2: I would really like to get involved with Pioneering and was wondering if I  could bring a friend with me to Club events.

Answer 2:

Members are welcome to bring a friend with them to Club events. In fact, the Pioneers recognize that Pioneer spouses and friends, often referred to as Pioneer Partners, provide important support to Pioneering. In this regard, Pioneer Partners have participated in many Pioneer projects and events, and have even led some of them.


Question 3: I never received a Life Member Card. How do I get a new one?

Answer 3:
Contact the Life Member Club Office. (See Club Contacts).

Question 4: A fellow AT&T retiree would like to join the AT&T New Jersey Life Member Club. What’s the process for becoming a member?

Answer 4:

Give your friend an AT&T Pioneers New Jersey Life Member Club Enrollment Form (see Membership) after your friend fills out the form, it should be forwarded to the Life Member Club Office for processing. (see Life Member Club Contacts). Or, this form can be filled out electronically and e-mailed to attpioneersnj@att.com.


Question 5: I’m moving to Florida in a couple of months. How do I find out about joining a club in Florida?

Answer 5:
See the TelecomPioneers Web Site for a listing of chapters and clubs in Florida.

Question 6: I’m moving. How do I notify the Pioneers of my new address?

Answer 6:

You should notify the AT&T Pension Service Center (PSC) (1-888-PEN-7779 or 1-888-736-7779) of your new address.  You should also notify the AT&T New Jersey Life Member Club Office (see Address Changes and Club Contacts).


Question 7:  I’m not moving, but just got a new e-mail address. Who should I notify?
Answer 7:
You can contact the Life Member Club Office or any one of your cluster leaders. See Club Contacts for information on how to contact the Life Member Club Office or to find the names of your cluster leaders.

Question 8: How can I find out what cluster I’m in?

Answer 8:
See Where We Are for a complete listing of zip codes making up each cluster.


Question 9: I’d like to change clusters. Is that possible and how do I do that?
Answer 9:
Yes. Simply contact one of your current cluster leaders and arrangements will be made to transfer you to the cluster of your choice. (See Club Contacts).

Question 10: I’d like to go to the Life Member Club luncheons, but I need a ride. Can some one help me with transportation?

Answer 10:
Yes. Contact one of your cluster leaders and he/she will help you get a ride. (See Club Contacts).


Question 11: If I work on a Pioneer volunteer project, am I covered by insurance in the event of an accident?
Answer 11:
TPA insurance covers public & property liability insurance - not medical & hospitalization. Volunteer activity must be reported in advance, and the accident must be reported to the insurance company within 30 calendar days of the incident.

Question 12: I spent most of my career at Bell Laboratories and would like to join a Lucent Pioneer Club. Is that possible? 
Answer 12:
Yes, to arrange this type of transfer, notify any member of the AT&T Life Member Club Executive Board. (see Club Contacts).

Question 13: Will the Pioneers release my contact information to outside organizations? 
Answer 13:
No, the Pioneers will not release your contact information to outside organizations without your express permission.
