Starting a New Project

The Jersey Shore Club Pioneers get many requests from inside and outside the company for support of a worthwhile community service project. However, our resources are limited. So as a club we must determine which projects we can and cannot support.

If you're interested in starting a new community service project within the Jersey Shore Club Pioneers, there are a few things you can do to help get your project off the ground and be successful.

  • Discuss your project with one of the Jersey Shore Club officers, preferably at one of our monthly meetings.

  • Find a committed volunteer(s) willing to lead the project. This person(s) would be responsible for understanding the task (project), finding volunteers, planning project work days, recording volunteer hours, requesting funds for materials, ordering needed materials, and communicating project status to club officers.

  • Fill out a new project form:
    Pioneer ProjectForm in MS-Word
  • Find volunteers by
    1. posting mail to all AT&T employees in our club area
    2. writing a project description detailing your volunteer needs and sending it to the Jersey Shore Club for posting on the web site
    3. Posting information on the AT&T CARES website using this link AT&T CARES.
