Become a Pioneer Volunteer!
There is no
length of employment requirement.
We have lots of community projects that
you may be interested in helping with. You may also want to start one in
your own community. If you do want to start a new project, please visit
our Starting a New Project web page.
For more than 80 years, the
Telecom Pioneers (formerly Telephone Pioneers of
America), active and retired employees of AT&T, Lucent
Technologies, former Bell System companies, and other
telephone industry companies have worked together on volunteer
projects that benefit the nation and local communities.
The Pioneers have gone through a series of reorganizations in
recent years that reflect both the globalization of
the industry and the changes in the make-up of our
corporate sponsors/group.
Today, our Jersey Shore Club belongs to the New Jersey Chapter 139.
