The Jersey Shore Club has an ongoing project to collect old cell phones (with batteries, chargers, accessories, boxes, books, and anything you might have that goes with them) that will be recycled to domestic abuse victims.  Cell phones are shipped off to The Wireless Foundation  for refurbishing and re-programmed to dial emergency numbers only.  These phones can be dropped off at the Pioneer store in Building A at the Middletown facility.

AT&T people who are not convenient to Middletown, NJ, should go to http://www.wirelessfoundation.org/CallToProtect/index.cfm. You will find a directory of local collection points throughout the United States, as well as a direct shipping address.

Your donation is tax-deductible, go to http://www.wirelessfoundation.org/CalltoProtect/web-based-receipt100303.pdf for more details or for a tax receipt.  For more information contact Harvey Cohen.
