Pioneer Benefits
The benefits of becoming a Pioneers
are multifaceted. Members benefit through having meaningful
relationships with one another, people in need, and working on
projects that align with member interests, the Pioneering spirit,
and AT&T's values as expressed in Our Common Bond. There is
a sense of camaraderie when a group of members participates
together in an activity. New friendships are formed.
You look forward to the next time when the team will be getting
together.Awards are
available for exceptional members so that outstanding work does
not go unnoticed. Finally, there are financial benefits in
the form of scholarships, discounts and unique travel
opportunities that are available to our members.
TelecomPioneers Foundation Scholarships of $1,000 to $2,000 are
currently awarded each year by the

The
AT&T Foundation launched a new special grants program in 2007 that replaces the
pre-merger AT&T CARES Volunteer Matching Grants Program. The new program will
support local communities with grants that complement volunteerism carried out
by the Pioneers and company recognized Employee Resource Groups such as APCA,
HACEMOS, Community NETwork and LEAGUE, each of which may nominate an
organization it supports through volunteerism for a grant of $5,000. Employees
and retirees wishing to participate in the new program through the Pioneers
should contact the Pioneer Chapter Manager in their region.
